sole responsibility of the hirer whilst using the equipment supplied by TVHIREUK.

Equipment on Hire
The customer will take care of the equipment from time of arrival to time of collection. Any damage
(other than fair wear and tear) will be repaired by TVHIREUK or their appointee and will be charged
to the customer. If any of the property is lost, stolen or damaged during the hire period, or extensions thereof,
TVHIREUK reserves the right to charge the customer the retail price plus 25% of the lost, stolen or damaged item/s.

It is the responsibility of the client to supply a sufficient power source with sufficient earth to the
location where needed by our technicians. Any equipment damaged by improper power supply or
surge will be the responsibility of the client.

Screen Hire
Screen sizes quoted are the actual picture size. The height of the whole screen will be higher due to
the legs that it comes mounted on. You will need to add 4ft to the height to allow for the legs. It is the
clients responsibility to make sure the screen hire actually fits the location they wish it to be. We
recommend a site visit by one of our technicians which may be chargeable.
For health and safety reasons the screens can only be set up and dismantled by TVHIREUK
employees.
TVHIREUK will supply all equipment in a safe and usable condition. Equipment is visually checked
and tested upon return. Equipment is also checked prior to set up. All electrical equipment is
regularly PAT tested. Equipment will be delivered in good working order. Unless notice is received to
the contrary as soon as reasonably possible and in any event no later than within 24 hours of
delivery. Equipment will be deemed to be in good working order, except for any defects not
detectable by reasonable examination.
In the unlikely event any equipment should fail while on hire, the client should advise TVHIREUK by
telephone or email as soon as possible. The client should not attempt to repair any equipment
without TVHIREUK permission.

We reserve the right to impose additional charges at the end of hire period if the equipment on hire is
not available to collect upon agreed collection time.

Delivery and Set-up
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is ready for the installation of the equipment at the
agreed time, if our technician is delayed due to the venue not being ready a charge of £50.00 per
hour may be charged.
It is the client’s responsibility to inform TVHIREUK if there is no parking available on site. Any costs
incurred due to TVHIREUK having to find parking elsewhere will be charged to the client unless
otherwise agreed beforehand.

The customer will insure the equipment during the rental period for all eventualities. TVHIREUK
does not accept any losses incurred directly or indirectly in the unlikely event of equipment failure.
